My name is Sascha Peters, studying at the university of Duesseldorf (Germany) and just as Erik, I have been in the same committee as Laurent (DISEC) at WorldMUN. Through intensively working together in our committee on a European working paper and essentially upon a finally adopted resolution not only during committee sessions but also in our spare time, I did get to know Laurent not only as a fellow committee member, but as a friend. We would be passing the great majority of our free time together with three girls from our committee, Emily, Pronita and Vanessa between Tuesday and Saturday morning, seeing the city, having meals together and most surely also partying together. After all, we were a group that got together quite closely and we did – despite the short time we knew each other – already consider each other as good friends, planning to stay in touch over a long time, spending a part of next summer together and even to attend each other’s weddings. As Erik said already, Laurent spontaneously told us about how he loved Yumiko and I honestly have never seen anyone of our age to be so deeply in love.
